In November of 2000, two of the founding members of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and some of their friends got together on the stage at the historic Fox Theater in Hanford, California to record this ground breaking performance. With only unamplified acoustic instruments in hand and their voices to support themselves, they sat in a circle, played bluegrass music and traditional folk tunes all day for cameras and high-resolution recording equipment. The 5.1 channel surround mix immerses the listener in the sound of mandolin, guitar, fiddle, banjo and harmonizing vocals. Instrumentals and lots of singing were the order of the day, capped by two songs by master songwriter and singer Jennifer Warnes!
